THE DEPARTURE of former general manager Sam Hinkie did nothing to unite the divided 76ers fans. There are those who look at last Tuesday's lottery result as validation of their belief in Hinkie's process, as the team came away with the top pick in next month's draft.
There are those who believe the depths to which Hinkie took the team lasted too long and that the plan has proven nothing yet. Just two of Hinkie's four first-round draft picks (Nerlens Noel, Jahlil Okafor) are on the roster while others have been dealt, stashed or injured.
But it's time to come together, whether you believe in what Hinkie did or are appalled by it.
