Cheeseteaks are only thing former Sixer misses

One would assume that Lavoy Allen gets fired up to face the 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center.

The Indiana Pacers power forward was a standout at Pennsbury High School in nearly Bucks County and later at Temple. The Sixers then drafted in the second-round of the 2011 NBA Draft. The 6-foot-9, 255-pounder was a solid contributor for the franchise until being traded along with Evan Turner to the Pacers on Feb. 20, 2014.

So it’s kind of a big deal to play in Philly, right?

“Not really,” Allen said Saturday morning at the Pacers shootaround at Temple.
