The Divine Comedy continues.
The following is Canto XXVII of Dante's Inferno, which describes the eighth bolgia of the eighth circle of Hell, reserved for those who knowingly give fraudulent advice:
"Now upward rose the flame, and still'd its light
To speak no more, and now pass'd on with leave
Pierced through with pain; thus, while no way they found,
