GALLOWAY, N.J. – 76ers general manager Sam Hinkie spoke highly of coach Brett Brown after Wednesday morning’s training camp practice at Stockton University.
He just wasn’t about to answer questions about a possible contract extension for Brown.
Brown accepted the position in August, 2013. The former San Antonio Spurs assistant received a four-year, guaranteed contract.
He’s heading into his third season, and hasn’t had discussions about extending his contract.
Brown was asked that subject during last week’s media luncheon.
“I saw that was topic du jour,” Hinkie said Wednesday, trying to elude the same question.
