Best and Worst awards: Sixers vs. Hornets

CHARLOTTE – My look at some of the best and worst performances from the Charlotte Hornets’ 113-88 victory over the 76ers Friday night at the Time Warner Cable Arena:

Player of the game: Charlotte’s Al Jefferson had by far the best performance of the game. The center scored a game-high 26 points on 11-for-19 shooting. The 6-foot-10, 289-pounder also finished with game highs of 10 rebounds and five blocks to go with two assists in 30 minutes, 40 seconds of action.

Worst performance: This has to go Charlotte’s Spencer Hawes.
