The NBA released the rosters for the 2019 Rising Stars Challenge about two hours before last night’s Sixers/Lakers game. With the Sixers on tap, the release got a bit lost in the shuffle, but it did contain Philadelphia-related news: Ben Simmons will be a highlight of the exhibition. The format of the game is the “World” roster versus the “USA” roster, which means that Simmons (who is from Australia) will be teammates with guys like Luka Doncic, Cedi Osman and Lauri Markkanen. The Rising Stars Challenge will take place on February 15th at 9:00 pm EST, and will be in Charlotte, NC with the rest of the All-Star weekend activities.
