Ben Simmons given flagrant, $20K fine for elbow to Lowry’s groin

During the Sixers Game 3 matchup with the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night, Ben Simmons’ elbow caught Kyle Lowry right in the gonads after Lowry himself made somewhat of a dirty play:

According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Simmons will be fined $20,000 and be assessed a flagrant 1 for the elbow:

Simmons and Lowry have beefed before, so for Simmons, this might honestly be worth it. But I really don’t think Simmons was thinking, “I’m going to cheap shot this guy.
