Ben Simmons is out for the season, and will not make his professional debut in the regular season for the Philadelphia 76ers this year. This was announced on Friday morning by team president and general manager Bryan Colangelo.
This news followed a CT scan on Simmons’ foot that revealed a slowdown or stagnation in the healing, the team wasn’t detailed in what the results of the scan showed. Whatever it was, it clearly wasn’t great regarding Simmons’ foot.
The team wasted no time after that getting to trying to fix the foot and get going so that they can potentially get him back to full health for summer league.
