The Sixers made a ton of transactions yesterday. I was hoping for the Sixers to just run it back and resign JJ, Tobias, and Jimmy. The team decided to go in a different direction. The Sixers resigned Tobias Harris to a five-year $180 million dollar deal. Mike Scott is also returning to the Sixers, he signed a two year $9.8 million dollar deal. These two signings were expected… then Elton Brand made some splash moves I did not see coming.
The Sixers traded Jimmy Butler to the Miami Heat. The exact details of this deal have not been released but it seems like the Sixers will at least get back Josh Richardson.
