In many ways, Sunday night’s game against the Brooklyn Nets marked a return to form for the Philadelphia 76ers. Joel Embiid seemed to shed his fatigue, Robert Covington hit shots, and Ben Simmons continued to flash his brilliance.
The offense, which has struggled at times in recent games, put up 120 points on the road. Although Brooklyn isn’t the strongest competition and they aren’t exactly equipped to guard Embiid on the block, it was still nice to see the offense find that kind of rythym.
Sitting at 36-29, the Sixers are in the thick of the Eastern Conference playoff race.
