2018 Rookie of the Year ladder 1.0

This year’s rookie class is special. Even as Markelle Fultz struggles through shoulder issues, we’re seeing glimpses of just how deep this class is. Jayson Tatum is contributing to a winning team, while virtually every other highly-touted guard has flashed shown promising signs.

Lonzo Ball isn’t better than Stephen Curry yet, but it’s important to stave off unreasonable expectations here. This class has performed at an extremely high level by NBA rookie standards, and overlooking that based on a handful of imperfections is grossly misguided.

Rookie struggles are expected, and this class will still have it’s fair share of them.
