There had been writing on the wall about Hinkie's future with the franchise after they hired Jerry Colangelo to be the team's chairman of basketball operations in December. Now, they're reportedly targeting Bryan Colangelo, Jerry's son, to be Hinkie's replacement, according to the Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Bryan Colangelo had been targeted as the Sixers GM, a candidacy that has been gathering momentum, league sources tell @TheVertical.

Hinkie became the general manager of the Sixers in 2013, then started to break down the team as they attempted to undergo a massive rebuild - one they are still in.
Management was reportedly on board with Hinkie's long-term tanking plan to help build a contender, but there hasn't been any signs of progress. Philadelphia has won just 47 games over the last three years combined.
