The first-round pick Dallas is sending Philadelphia is protected for picks 1-18 in June's draft, meaning the Sixers will not get the pick unless the Mavericks make the playoffs and finish with one of the 12 best records in the NBA.
Dallas is currently in 12th place in the Western Conference with a 22-34 record, but are three games out of the No. 8 spot.
Noel had been asking for a trade out of Philadelphia since the offseason, citing a lack of playing time due to the presence of two other centers (Joel Embiid, Jahlil Okafor) on the roster. He is also set to be a restricted free agent this offseason, and Dallas is expected to immediately work on an extension with him.
Noel is averaging 8.9 points and 5.0 rebounds per game this season.
The Mavericks were actively shopping Bogut in the months leading up to today's deadline. However, he isn't expected to stay in Philadelphia. The 76ers are expected to include him in another trade today or to buy out his contract if they are unable to move him.
