The Philadelphia 76ers hold the No. 3 pick in the NBA Draft, and many assume they will draft Ohio State point guard D'Angelo Russell if he's still on the board. However, according to ESPN's Chad Ford, the Sixers have three prospects they're considering with that pick:
I’ve been writing for the past few months that the Sixers like Mudiay and still believe they do. And for the past few weeks I’ve been writing that the team is very high on Porzinigs. So yes, Russell is no slam dunk there if he’s on the board at 3. As for Hezonja,I don’t think he’s in the mix at 3. I’d say Porzinigs, Mudiay or Russell.
Karl-Anthony Towns and Jahlil Okafor are expected to be the top two picks in the draft, but if one of them were to fall to the Sixers at No. 3, Philadelphia will likely take them over Russell, Mudiay, and Porzingis.
