LARAMIE — Austin Fort wasn't able to play this season until Wyoming's game Saturday at Utah State. There are worse ways to end your debut than with a trophy in your hand.
Fort and linebacker Logan Wilson, both Wyoming natives, were the first to get to the Bridger Rifle traveling trophy after Wyoming's 28-23 win over the Aggies.
"It’s a fun moment," Fort said. "It’s a trophy game, and it’s just a little bit extra when you have something to say, ‘Hey, we won. This is our year. We’ve got a year of bragging rights,’ and to just enjoy that with your teammates.
