Back to the Penn State Nittany Lions Newsfeed

Wrestling Recap: Penn State 30, Purdue 10.

Penn State came away with a comfortable victory in the first of its two-part Indiana swing over the weekend.

The Nittany Lions easily erased an early 6-0 deficit to come away with a comfortable 30-10 victory over Purdue.

With the news earlier in the week that Gavin Teasdale is leaving the program, Devin Schnupp all but locked down the starting job for the rest of the season at 125.

In the opening match of the night, Schnupp fell to the Boilermakers’ Devin Schroeder 6-1 to give Purdue a 3-0 team lead early on.

Things got a little worse for Penn State in the next bout.
