The women’s hockey team is now 16-0 in conference play following an easy sweep of Robert Morris.
Katie DeSa recorded a 22-save shutout in Penn State’s 5-0 win in Game 1, her 8th shutout of the season. Penn State outshot the Colonials 51-22 and got two goals from Katelyn Roberts to stay unbeaten in conference play. In Game 2, Penn State outshot Robert Morris 61-19, the first 60-shot game for the Lions since October 24. Five different Nittany Lions scored in the game, and despite the Colonials’ hanging around a bit in the second period, Penn State put the game away in the third with its relentless offense.
