The first playoff kick of Wil Lutz's career was a big one.
Long, to be more accurate.
Lutz hit from 57 yards on Sunday against the Panthers, tying Cincinnati's Mike Nugent for the second-longest postseason kick in NFL history, although he didn't realize it when he lined it up.
"It's find of funny, I was telling Thomas (Morstead), I didn't even know until about 10 plays after that it was a 57-yarder," Lutz said. "I actually thought it was 52. I saw the line and two ticks, so that's what I thought it was. It's probably a good thing, I didn't try to swing out of your shoes.
