Why did Ricky Slade pick Penn State? The answer, a scouting report, and more from C.D. Hylton head coach Tony Lilly

Tony Lilly was a second-team All-American in Florida and played in the NFL for four seasons, netting nine interceptions.

He's also coached a number of FBS prospects, including Ohio State lineman Matthew Burrell, Virginia Tech 1,000-yard rusher Travon McMillian, Connecticut linebacker E.J. Levenberry, and current Penn State offensive lineman Chasz Wright.

This is all to say, the head coach at C.D. Hylton in Woodbridge, Va., knows talent when he sees it and then gets the most out of it during a high school career.

Just look at what he has done with Ricky Slade.

Lilly first spotted the now five-star running back and senior to-be who verbally committed to Penn State's Class of 2018 earlier this month when he was ending his middle school career and coming into ninth grade.
