Now that the Heisman Trophy has been announced, I can divulge my three selections. The winner is not on my ballot. That doesn't mean I'm upset about Derrick Henry being the winner. It just means I thought three others did a little more this season.
Versatility and efficiency are what I value most in judging a player. Bang per snap is how I ranked the players I entered last Monday. That's part of the reason I didn't include Alabama's workhorse running back Henry on my ballot. Actually, I probably would have ranked him about fifth behind Florida State's Dalvin Cook but ahead of Louisiana State's Leonard Fournette, who somehow plunged from the favorite to off the board due to one November game.
