Penn State coach James Franklin singled out those players following Wednesday's practice. And there are only two spring workouts left, the last one being Saturday's Blue-White scrimmage at Beaver Stadium. Kickoff is at 3 p.m.

Tommy Stevens is definitely ready for action at quarterback. Trace McSorley, a second-team All-Big Ten pick last season, is a captain and the starter.
