In the marketing of football, the target demo long ago migrated south. The game at all levels is turning into a Southern sport. Take a look at Disney's and Fox's pandering to biscuit-n-gravy-fed viewers, placing inordinate numbers of Southern former coaches and players like Jimmy Johnson and Terry Bradshaw on their studio panels and dimpled Barbie-belles such as Erin Andrews and Samantha Ponder on their sidelines.
