Whiteheart ready for adjustment at Wake Forest

There is a nice routine these days for Blake Whiteheart. He knows they won’t last.

“I wake up whenever I want, get something to eat and then go work out, come home, watch some NetFlix, maybe go out to work out again. It’s nice,” said Whiteheart, the Mount Tabor High School graduate who is gearing up to enroll at Wake Forest.

Whiteheart is one of six players who’s joining the Deacons’ football program as an early enrollee. The 6-foot-4, 240-pound tight end is in between schools — he graduated from Mount Tabor in December and moves into Wake Forest on Jan.
