Penn State is in the midst of a tough EIVA schedule, and there’s one aspect coach Mark Pavlik wants to see his team improve upon.
The Nittany Lions were in multiple advantageous positions throughout sets against Charleston last Saturday, but failed to take advantage before falling in four sets. As such, Pavlik understands a key issue with his squad.
“That’s the part I want to see us get better at,” Pavlik said. “When we get the lead after 20, shut it down. You get to 20, you need five sideouts. Let’s get five sideouts.”
Looking ahead, Pavlik wants to see his team clean up on small errors within a rally.
