In a different format and a little bit scaled down, it's hit amazon bright and early today.
The last two years, we launched a kickstarter to help fund We Are!, a definitive Penn State football preseason magazine. Last year, we got more ambitious and struck a deal with (what we thought was) a publisher to get physical copies of the magazine into the hands of you, our illustrious reader, as well as bookstores throughout Pennsylvania and the DC metro area.
That didn't work out so well, as it turns out that "publisher" was little more than a shady warehouse that printed the books and sat on them, not fulfilling preorders until, in some instances, after the season started (pretty awesome for a "preseason magazine")--and never stocking them in bookstores.
