Jonathan Freeny has been through a roller coaster of a season.
New England cut him at the end of training camp after two playoff runs with the team, then brought him back in December after a failed stint in Baltimore.
Now, Freeny is in New Orleans, trying to buttress a linebacker position that has lost both of its starters to injured reserve as the Saints head into the playoffs.
"It's really just knowing that's all part of football," Freeny said. "You can be on the roster one week playing, off of it the next week. It was definitely a learning experience this year, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
