GAME BREAKDOWN
OFFENSE
EDGE: VIRGINIA
North Carolina knew it would be rebuilding its offense after losing stars such as quarterback Mitch Trubisky, running back Elijah Hood and receivers Ryan Switzer and Mack Hollins. Add to that at least 11 offensive players who have suffered season-ending injuries, and it’s easy to see why the normally high-powered Tar Heels aren’t clicking. UNC ranks 11th in the 14-team ACC, averaging just 25.3 points. U.Va. is just a notch ahead at 10th in the league in scoring, but the Cavaliers are scoring 30.6 points per game and have the confidence of three straight wins.
