The U.S. men’s volleyball team will face Brazil in the quarterfinals at 3 p.m. ET on Monday. Former Penn Staters Aaron Russell, Max Holt and Matt Anderson will be essential pieces for the Americans to come out with a win.
The three players have been ranking high in points for the majority of the matches. Russell has often taken the lead, followed closely by his fellow alumni. All of them have excelled at block efficiency, making it even harder for the opposing team to score.
Team U.S. has had a strong campaign thus far in the Paris 2024 Olympics, winning all three of its games in the preliminary stage over Argentina, Germany and Japan, respectively.
