LOGAN, Utah — Utah State coach Matt Wells said earlier this week that Boise State’s two-quarterback system was the best he had ever seen.
The Broncos did nothing to prove him wrong on Saturday night.
Brett Rypien and Montell Cozart each threw multiple touchdown passes and the Broncos had their best offensive output of the season in a dominant 41-14 win at Maverik Stadium.
The win was the fourth in a row for the Broncos (6-2, 4-0 MW), who took over sole possession of first place in the Mountain Division with Colorado State’s loss to Air Force earlier in the day.
