Trace McSorley Becomes All-Time Winningest QB in Penn State History

With Penn State’s 20-7 win over Rutgers, Trace McSorley picked up his 30th career victory, which pushes him past Todd Blackledge and Tony Sacco for most all-time by a Penn State starting quarterback. This record is of course fitting for McSorley, who was dominant as a four-year starter at Briar Woods in Virginia, compiling a career record of 55-5 during his high school career.

While “being a winner” is certainly McSorley’s thing, it isn’t the only thing he is. He is also a “touchdown scorer,” having scored his 100th touchdown earlier this afternoon. He’s the first Nittany Lion to reach triple-digit touchdowns in a career, which I must say, is pretty cool given that McSorley was a three-star safety recruit.
