While starting season 8- 0, one of the best starts in Lady Lion history, the biggest question has been whether Penn State can overcome its turnover problems in more competitive games. Monday’s game answered that question.
The blue and white turned the ball over a total of 22 times Monday night, leading to its first loss of the season 72-67 against St. John’s in the Bryce Jordan Center.
Of their 22 turnovers, 16 were live ball steals, allowing the Red Storm to get on the fastbreak and score easy points, something the Lady Lions are used to capitalizing on themselves.
