Tony Carr provides much needed offensive boost in second half for Penn State men’s basketball

As the clock dwindled under six minutes in the second half, Penn State guard Tony Carr dribbled to his left, stepped back and drilled a three pointer if front of his team’s bench.

On the very next possession, Carr received an outlet pass from Josh Reaves, took the ball the length of the floor and laid in two more and a drew the foul. Carr hit the free throw to put his team up 66-55.

Before that 6-0 run by Carr, Campbell had all of the momentum after cutting the Penn State lead to six, thanks to a 11-0 spurt.
