Tom Bradley Named Steelers Defensive Backs Coach

Welcome back to Pennsylvania, Scrap.

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced today that former Penn State defensive coordinator (and, briefly, head coach) Tom Bradley had been hired as their new defensive backs coach after the resignation of Carnell Lake.

Bradley. who played defensive back for Penn State from 1975 to 78, was an assistant for the Nittany Lions for 32 years from 1979 to 2011.

After “it” happened, Bradley was named the interim head coach for four games at the end of the 2011 season, including a 20-14 victory over Ohio State.

Bradley then took two years off before spending one year as the defensive line coach at West Virginia and then two, most recently, as the defensive coordinator under Jim Mora at UCLA.
