Tiger Woods’ comeback to the PGA Tour lasted three days.
After committing to play in the Tour’s season opening Safeway Open last Friday, Woods withdrew from the tournament on Monday — before even arriving on site — citing worries about the readiness of his game.
Woods has not played competitive golf since the Wyndham Championship in August 2015 because of back surgery. A gap of 416 days.

According to a statement on Woods’ website, he will not play in November’s Turkish Airlines Open as well. The statement did say that Woods hopes to return to competition at his foundation hosted Hero World Challenge in December.
