Penn State made another statement to the college wrestling world on Friday night — it’s going to be hard to stop.
The unbeaten No. 1 Nittany Lions rolled through Columbus, Ohio and picked up another dominating victory, this time over fourth-ranked Ohio State.
The Nittany Lions won seven of the 10 matches on the way to defeating the Buckeyes 32-12 in front of the largest Ohio State crowd to witness a wrestling match.
Coach Cael Sanderson’s teams have a knack for drawing large opposing crowds, but it doesn’t have any effect on them.
“Obviously, there was 15,000 people in [the Schottenstein Center],” Sanderson said in a Trackwrestling video.
