Penn State got the third commitment of its “Lasch Bash” recruiting weekend Saturday afternoon when three-star rated receiver Shaquon Anderson-Butts announced in a Twitter post that he’s joining the Nittany Lions’ 2018 recruiting class.

Anderson-Butts, a Harrisburg, Pa. native, measures 6 feet and 159 pounds. Rivals.com ranks him the No. 80 prospect at his position and the No. 15 prospect in the state. He had offers from numerous power conference programs including Pitt and Big Ten foes Maryland, Michigan State and Nebraska, according to his Rivals profile.
