Entering the 2023 season, Penn State found itself in need of a new punter. In came transfer Riley Thompson from Florida Atlantic, and Mr. Thompson immediately cemented himself as the starter. Appearing in all 13 games in 2023, the Australian booted the ball 51 times over the course of the season, with an average of 45.3 yards. Best part is Riley is only a junior, so if all goes well the Lions should have his services for at least the next 2 years.

As it stands right now, Sander Sahaydak is your starting kicker, but Sander did not have the best season in 2023.
