In some respects, writing these articles are much harder than writing the ones about the heartbreaker against the Ohio States of the world. In those, at least there’s a purpose. Not to throw too much disrespect in the direction of West Lafayette, but coming into the game, we all knew the No. 4 Penn State Nittany Lions would win. What we didn’t know is by how much. Turns out, that number is 39.
Maybe against a different opponent things would have been more dicey. Penn State has, after all, struggled against opponents after their heartbreaker in seasons past.
