Penn State receiver Brandon Polk was a big part of the Lions' offense a year ago, but out went John Donovan, in came Joe Moorhead, and suddenly, the speedster known for running jet sweeps has hardly been seen.
It's not an indictment of Polk's abilities, as the sophomore is one of many talented options in receivers coach Josh Gattis' room. It's just, substituting doesn't work the same way in Moorhead's offense as it did in Donovan's, and the Lions love what they have in Chris Godwin, DaeSean Hamilton, DeAndre Thompkins, and Saeed Blacknall, when healthy.
