Penn State celebrated its senior night in the team's final home contest against Purdue. The Lady Lions fell to the Boilermakers 92-85, marking the team's ninth straight loss.
The blue and white’s starters were the five players being honored: Gabby Elliott, Tamera Johnson, Grace Hall, Jayla Oden and Alli Campbell.
“I just want to thank our seniors, Tamera, Gabby, Jayla and Alli,” coach Carolyn Kieger said. “Unfortunately we weren’t able to get a win for them on their senior night. I know that’s hard. I know that’s never the way you want to go out.”
Elliott and Johnson came to Happy Valley as graduate transfers, with Elliott arriving from Michigan State and Johnson from Louisiana.
