Earlier this week, Penn State legend LaVar Arrington said defensive end Shareef Miller is blowing him away.
Well, Miller’s teammates are in the same boat as Arrington.
“He plays with that killer instinct,” Nittany Lions cornerback Christian Campbell said Wednesday. “Shareef is climbing. ... He’s only getting better.”
Miller, a redshirt sophomore, is arguably Penn State’s defensive MVP through four games. Sure, Grant Haley has a couple interceptions and Marcus Allen has endangered any running back or wideout with the ball. But it’s been Miller’s dominating play along the front-four that’s helped set the tone for Penn State’s defense.
