I’m disappointed, but not surprised. The game was never really as close as the final score shows as Ohio State handed Penn State its second-straight loss to open the season.
The Nittany Lions weren’t expected to slow down the Buckeyes’ high octane offense. With that in mind, the offense needed to keep pace with the opposition, but Kirk Ciarrocca couldn’t quite figure it out until the game was already out of reach.
Sean Clifford would be the first to take responsibility for his and the offense’s subpar performance this season.
