Penn State has decided to "refresh" the university mark in a move that will not affect the athletic lion head or seal. Jerry Kuyper Partners put together the new mark that featured input from more than 300 members of the university during the process. The price tag was surprisingly inexpensive for this type of thing at only $128,000 and will go into use beginning later this month. The move is said to better serve the digital needs of university mark, but still suffers from many of the same scaling issues as the prior logo and looks like it will be difficult to embroider.
