It’s been known since senior day that Sterling Jenkins would not return to the program in 2019 but it was unknown if he was going to continue his playing career somewhere else. On Saturday night, that answer was given when Jenkins announced he’d be playing his final year of football at Duquesne University.

Coming out of high school, the Pittsburgh native was a four-star composite prospect according to 247Sports. At the time, it was thought Jenkins could be a building block for the Nittany Lions on the offensive line but was also considered a project prospect.
