Penn State lined up to take a faceoff in the offensive zone. The Nittany Lions (5-2-2) were cruising with a comfortable lead over the hapless Sacred Heart Pioneers (5-4-1) and about to begin a five-on-three power play.
The Lions’ senior forward Zach Saar was making his season debut after missing the first eight games with an undisclosed injury.
The the puck eventually found defenseman Luke Juha’s stick. Saar rapidly tapped his blade on the ice begging for the puck as he slithered into the high slot.
Juha obliged.
Juha’s crisp pass glided right into Saar’s wheelhouse.
