A former 3-star offensive tackle recruit out of Washington D.C.’s Gonzaga High School, Olu Fashanu enrolled at Penn State when he was just 17 years old. His age was constantly referenced as he became a household name during his first year as a starter, but we’ll get there. He redshirted in 2020 and played nine games in 2021. He wound up starting the Gator Bowl and proved to be one of the few bright spots in that forgettable loss to Arkansas.
Established as the starter at left tackle entering the 2022 season, Fashanu quickly started to catch the eyes of NFL scouts.
