Stress and adversity have defined Penn State’s recent stretch of games, as each of its last four contests were decided by single digits. This didn’t change when the Nittany Lions traveled to Ann Arbour to face a formidable Michigan team on Monday night.
With the action once again boiling down to the final few minutes, Michigan came through in the clutch with a 9-0 run that earned it a 76-72 victory.
Though Penn State received a gutsy performance from point guard Ace Baldwin Jr., who played all 40 minutes for the third-straight game, it was Michigan guard Tre Donaldson, who stood out with a career-high 21 points.
