There’s no question it’s been a rough last couple of weeks for San Jose State’s football program.
After all, the Spartans were outscored by a combined margin of 110-16 in back-to-back road loses against Power 5 Conference opponents.
In all fairness, most Mountain West programs would have struggled against SJSU’s non-conference schedule this season. The Spartans (1-3) have already played a pair of current Top 25 teams in USF and Utah, plus a Texas squad that nearly knocked off USC on the road last Saturday.
“There were a lot of good plays (we made vs. Utah last Saturday) and our kids are really playing hard, and so I think as we continue to grow and develop as a program .
