Shep Garner leads Penn State men's basketball over Boston College

Penn State controlled the ball early in its game against Boston College and immediately looked to Shep Garner to lead the way. Garner received a pass and sunk a 3-pointer for the game’s first points.

After his first shot, Garner never looked back and led the Nittany Lions (4-2) to a decisive 67-58 win over the Eagles (3-4) on Wednesday night in the annual Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

After giving up a combined 29 3-pointers in their losses to Duquesne and Radford, Garner and the Lions turned the tables in the game against the Eagles. Garner, who led the team with 30 points, made five 3-point shots in the first 10 minutes of the first half.
