All season long, coach Charlene Morett-Curtiss has emphasized the need for her team to convert its scoring chances.
Less than a minute into the game, No. 4 Penn State did just that as Gini Bramley found the back of the cage to give the Nittany Lions an early lead en route to beating Bucknell 9-1 and moving to 6-0 on the season.
“I was really proud of the way they came out to start this game,” said Morett-Curtiss. “One thing we talk about is to get great pressure in the first 5 minutes, get shots on goal, and try to knock one in.
